One of the top contenders for “Club Jam of the Summer” has to be David Guetta’s collaboration with Kelly Rowland on “When Love Takes Over”. Who knew that it would take a dance track to make Kelly Rowland relevant again? Well, that actually wasn’t as far of a stretch as you might think, given the fact that it was her remixes of “Work” and “Daylight” that made her last effort relevant. The single is at #6 on the Club Play chart and #53 on the Pop 100 Airplay chart, so this is shaping up to be a mainstream smash. Check out the video and leave some feedback. If this isn’t your jam for the summer, what is?
John, I hadn’t hear that song yet. Thanks for sharing. I like it. My pick for summer jam is The Pussycat Dolls – Hush, Hush, Hush, Hush. I love the Dave Aude mix and I love the interpolation of the “I Will Survive” lyrics in the remix.
I think I mentioned it elsewhere, but “Hush Hush” may actually grow on me.
Shame on me for not loving this earlier. It’s an amazing saturday night going out tune. Just grab the one you love and shimmy!
Same here! Where has this song been?? I likey mucho… thanks for putting this in my face!
Will-W. has been raving about this for a couple of weeks now. Where YOU been?
Yeah I love this too. Kelly is apparently contemplating going dance on her next flop album and I think it’s a great idea if it turns out anything like this.
Well, we saw where a dance record got Michelle Williams, right?
