The video finally hit today for “Supernova“, and I’m a bit underwhelmed. Visually, the first half of it looks terrific. And then the whole “Mr Supernova” sucks the life out of the clip. The “chase” scene at the end just can’t bring it back.
Having said that, I sat here watching it and thinking to myself “he’s actually going to have a hit in the U.S.” This should be as sure-fire of a hit as Kanye himself. If it’s not, I’m considering emigration. Suggestions?
Well flap me sideways and bugger me gently – i happen to think it’s quite good. Not top drawer though. It does go a bit skewiff at the end. Over all though it is more of a kit kat than a disappointing Milky Way.
Emigrate to England. Even if we can’t seem to get truly deserving pop tunes to number one (don’t ask)
Can I rent out the rural estate while I’m there?
I think haulinig your arse to Sydney would be more appropriate. The weather’s better and it’s cheap in comparison to London!
As for Mr Hudson, I like the song and think it will be a hit so no need to book your flight just yet.
This song just FEELS like a #1. Don’t ask me why, but it does. Sydney is far up on the list, too.
It’s nothing to write home about, fer shure. He’s going to have to do much better than that to compete with the likes of Black Eyed Peas for America’s attention!
How brilliant is it, though, that this guy barely scratched the surface in his home country with the debut, only to be dubbed the next “It” guy in the US?
Time for an update, John!
Consider it done!
